Many painters have taken female intimacy as the subject of their paintings, and each one has found their particular interest in different scenes of everyday private life. Edgar Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec and Pierre Bonnard made their own versions of the topic of La Toilette, the Bathroom, creating an erotic atmosphere in the intimate routine of ordinary women. Master Botero has continued that tradition in paintings that awake at the same time a feeling of tenderness and sensuality in the viewer. -
